Vote Brittany Colville
Campbell River City Councillor Candidate

About Brittany
I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, but I’ve called the West Coast home for the past 15 years. Several years ago, I chose Campbell River as the place I wanted to put down roots and build a life with my family. We were drawn here by the natural beauty and outdoor lifestyle, but it’s the people and sense of community that have made it home.
I have a degree in Political Science from UBC, and my career has taken me across a wide range of industries — from renewable energy and technology to business development, community organizing, small business, and the public sector. That diverse experience has given me a broad perspective and an understanding that the needs of our community are just as varied. Good decisions require looking at issues from more than one angle.
I’m deeply community-minded and believe the best solutions come from listening, bringing different perspectives together, and finding common ground. I care about building a Campbell River where people can afford to put down roots, local businesses and industries can thrive, our natural spaces are protected, and residents have a meaningful voice in the decisions that shape their community.
Outside of work and community involvement, I’m happiest outdoors. I’m an avid runner, skier and climber, and you’ll often find me exploring Campbell River with my dog, Senna.
I plan to bring that same curiosity and an open mind to City Council. I won’t assume I have all the answers, and I’m willing to listen to people whose perspectives differ from my own. I’ll come prepared, ask questions, consider the evidence, and work collaboratively to find practical solutions that serve Campbell River as a whole.
I acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of the Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ people, including the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum, and Kwiakah First Nations.
